I am a connected, experienced animal shelter consultant that specializes in working with municipal and non-profit animal shelters to improve efficiency and drive their mission forward. I have over 15 years of experience partnering with shelter and municipal leaders to support their goals. I work closely with my clients to develop customized strategies that are tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Some shelters find themselves without an executive director or shelter manager and need immediate interim support to lead staff, manage budgets and help with the transition of operations to new leadership. As an experienced shelter director and expert in animal shelter best practices, I am able to step in either remotely or in person to full this role while a permanent replacement is found.

I offer both in-person and virtual evaluations of current shelter operations and will provide confidential written recommendations and ongoing support with sustainable implementation and staff training. My goal is to improve quality of life for shelter staff, save the shelter money, support the human-animal bond and decrease shelter euthanasia.
Getting bogged down by keyboard warriors? I can help organize and focus advocates, volunteers, and municipal leaders towards our shared goal of supporting the people and pets in the community. I have extensive experience partnering with elected officials and guiding advocates to support the shelter's goals. This is especially important if the shelter is dealing with bad PR or navigating a crisis.
